Krissy Berger has practiced nursing in the following areas: long term acute care, medical-surgical, adult and pediatric hospice, and neuro/medical ICU. Her most recent experience has been hospice and medical ICU. She received her nursing degree from University North Georgia in 2011 and has practiced nursing for over 13 years.
She rose into management while working in a hospice. She is a healthcare advocate; she loves to teach and is passionate about helping others navigate the complexities of our healthcare system. Her favorite thing about nursing is the human side of it; the ability to connect with and empower others by delivering compassionate care, education, and resources.
Krissy married her husband in 2002, and they share two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Additionally, she has two fur-babies, a dog named Ryder, and a cat named Sunday. Her favorite hobbies are hiking, amateur photography, and traveling to new places.
