team has advanced training in geriatrics and mental health
as well as grief & loss and care management. We use an
interdisciplinary holistic systems approach to assess issues,
tailoring solutions
to each individual’s needs while respectfully maintaining the
client and family's integrity and dignity.The team works
collaboratively to bring the best possible care
to you or your loved one, determining resources and providing support
and recommendations for a wide variety of needs and circumstances.

Metta Johnson, RN BSN CMC FounderCEO and RN Certified Aging Life Care Manager
Metta Johnson, President and Certified
Care Manager, has over 25 years of experience serving clients with
serious, chronic and terminal illnesses. Metta has extensive clinical
expertise in cancer, palliative care and gerontology.
Her
inspiration to enter nursing was her parents’ own cancer experiences.
After raising three children she attended nursing school with the goal
of helping people gain control of their healthcare experience. Metta
graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University School of
Nursing in 1987. She worked in oncology a number of years helping
patients understand their illnesses and their options.
In
1991, Metta, her husband Clyde, and a nursing colleague founded the
first inpatient hospice facility in Atlanta – growing the program to one
of the largest in the city. Metta has excellent rapport with many of
the city’s leading physicians and healthcare facilities.
Metta
has given numerous presentations to physicians, nurses and other
professional organizations. She is nationally certified as a care
manager and in oncology and hospice and palliative care. Metta is a
nationally Certified Care Manager. Metta was featured in Time Magazine’s cover story “Dying on Your Own Terms” and the CNN series on pain management.

Clyde Johnson has 40
years of healthcare finance experience including 10 years as an Audit
Manager for healthcare clients with a National CPA firm. Subsequently he
served 12 years as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
for a major Metro Atlanta hospital.
In
1991, Clyde and Metta were cofounders of Atlanta’s first inpatient
hospice and grew their hospice program to one of the largest in Atlanta.
The Johnson’s then began providing care management services to seniors
including financial services.
Clyde
determines client’s resources and utilizes those resources to meet the
client’s needs. Services vary according to need, ranging from bill
paying to Power of Attorney services. Clyde is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers.

Michael Johnson, LCSW C-ASWCM ACHT Vice President, COO, and Certified Aging Life Care Manager
Anne brings many years of experience as an RN in various health care settings. A graduate of University of Maryland, she obtained her BSN over 35 years ago. She has worked in Pediatrics, Adult Cardiovascular Surgery , Moh's surgery and most recently has worked four years in hospice nursing. She has a passion for working with families who are struggling to navigate the health care system for their loved ones. As Care manager, Anne functions as patient advocate and can assist with medication management, coordinating appointments with medical professionals, communicating with clients and their families, and making visits to assure that the client is residing in a happy,safe environment. She is also happy to assist family members in selecting placement options for their loved ones. Anne excels at communication skills and is committed to maximizing her clients quality of life. As a cancer survivor, she brings a very personal knowledge of illness and can empathize with clients and their families who are faced with a life changing diagnosis. Anne is married and the mother of two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, long walks on the beach and spending time with family and friends. Michael has over ten years working as a medical social worker. He spent many of those years working as a hospice social worker, in which he supervised and directed teams of social workers. During that time he honed his skills in helping families understand complex medical issues, confusing government benefits, and the emotional challenges of caring for a loved one with various medical needs.
As a licensed clinical social worker Michael has extensive understanding of mental health diagnosis and their treatments. Additionally, Michael takes a holistic approach to helping his clients and their loved ones. He has also helped people achieve a renewed sense of peace in facing their healthcare needs through the use of his training in clinical hypnotherapy. He has developed several audio tracks for stress relief and pain reduction.

Maureen McCaffrey, RN BSNRN Care Manager
Maureen McCaffrey, RN Care Manager, has
over 25 years experience in nursing and is nationally certified in
gerontological nursing. With a focus in gerontology, Maureen spent time
nursing at three different Wesley Wood locations and was the resident
director at Dogwood Forest Assisted Living Center in Dunwoody, GA. She
has extensive experience with both Alzheimer’s and dementia, including
setting up and supervising Alzheimer’s wings in assisted living homes.
Maureen’s
experience in home health, nursing homes and the hospital setting prove
very valuable assets to her clients. Additionally, her love of
geriatrics was cemented through her service as a personal care manager,
resident service director and wellness coordinator.

Katie Bell, RN BSN CMC RN Certified Aging Life Care Manager
Katie Bell RN BSM CMC is a Certified Care Manager who has
years of well-honed skills and experience with background in urology,
gastroenterology, nursing home and directing care in assisted living. Most importantly Katie possesses the
compassion to work with the elderly and those with special needs thus bringing
true caring to the situation.

Lauren Voyles, RN BSN CCM Certified Patient Advocate
Lauren has an extensive and
varied background navigating healthcare for clients with a variety of chronic
and acute diseases. Her particular focus
includes case management with medical oversight for clients with injuries,
cancer, motor system disorders, autism and heart failure.
Additionally, herself a
cancer survivor, she intimately understands the vulnerabilities and
complexities of illness and the maze of medical care. This has driven her to advocate for her
clients with passion and purpose.
She holds her RN BSN through
the University of Oklahoma, is an Alfus Certified Patient Advocate through the
University of Miami and has Gerontology Study Certification through the
University of Georgia.
In her free time, Lauren
enjoys time in the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and two
teenage daughters.

Peggy S. Lee, RN BSN MBA Certified Case Manager
Peggy Lee has practiced nursing in wide variety of areas
including the following: ICU, Red Cross, Case Management, home health, IV
infusion and hospice. Having received
her BSN at the Medical College of Georgia and her Master’s in Business
Administration, she has used her extensive education to serve in the
community. This wide array of
experience gives Peggy the expertise and empathy to work with people to address
their needs.

Angela Fietchter, RN BSN RN Care Manager
Angela has 27 years of diverse nursing experience ranging
from acute care in the ICU, post surgical care, chronic lung disease and
extensive cardiac disease management in the home including IV medication
administration and CHF pilot programs. Her clinical management experience for a
national homecare company and thorough knowledge of Medicare regulations allow
her to provide the client with optimal oversight. Being an advocate for her
client as they and their family navigate the aging process has been incredibly
rewarding to her.
Angela is a graduate of Ohio State University and loves the
Buckeyes! She is married and her blended family includes 8 children and 4 dogs.
She lives in the Milton area and enjoys interior design as a hobby.

Emily Wright, LCSW, C-ASWCMLicensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager
Emily is a licensed clinical social worker with over
15 years of experience working with patients and families in need. Emily has extensive experience and expertise
in the arena of hospice and palliative care, working with patients and family
members to providing support, education and guidance. Emily has worked in a variety of settings,
including inpatient hospices, hospitals, personal care homes and in home
hospice.
Emily specializes in addressing the wide variety of needs
facing families and friends caring for loved ones in need and enjoys helping
them navigate the challenges presented by mental health issues,
grief/bereavement, complex medical issues, stress, dementia-related illness and
aging.
In addition
to these skills, Emily is registered Yoga teacher and therapist and is
passionate about helping clients find balance between body and mind in order to
live their best quality of life.

Linda Selvidge BSN, RN, MBARN Care Manager
Linda
began her healthcare career in a most traditional way—as a nurse at the
patient’s bedside. Rising into
management roles within the hospital and beyond, she has 25+ years of
experience in clinical and operations management. For the past two decades, Linda has held leadership
roles in senior living where she partnered with seniors and families in successfully
navigating their individual and unique aging journeys.
Known
for her resourcefulness, creativity and resolve, Linda is an uncompromising advocate
for the care and quality of life for seniors.
Her years of hands-on experience bring valuable insights and knowledge
that are transformational for her clients and their outcomes.
Linda possesses a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas and a Master of
Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio,
Texas. She enjoys traveling, reading,
needlework and time with her husband, children, grandson and Bella, their West
Highland Terrier.
